FPT and Mishima Kosan Launch AI-Powered Manufacturing Platform to Drive Digital Innovation and Sustainable Growth in Japan and Beyond
FPT, a global IT services provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mishima Kosan Co., Ltd., a prominent Japanese manufacturer, to co-develop a next-generation AI-powered manufacturing platform. The strategic collaboration aims to drive digital innovation across the manufacturing sector and modernize industrial operations worldwide. Japan’s manufacturing industry is undergoing a transformative shift, with AI-driven advancements becoming essential for boosting productivity and securing long-term competitiveness. Additionally, the collaboration includes the AI Mentor initiative—a workforce development program designed to standardize training, accelerate skill acquisition, and support multilingual environments across diverse teams. In the coming phases, both companies plan to expand the deployment of these solutions across domestic and international manufacturing sites, supporting the transition to intelligent, sustainable, and AI-enabled operations.
