Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at John Wiley & Sons, where he led global education businesses generating more than $300 million in annual revenue. Prior to that, he was CEO of The Learning House, an Online Program Management (OPM) company that partnered with universities to build, market, and manage their online degree programs. Under his leadership, the company achieved significant organic growth and was successfully acquired by Wiley in 2018, following its initial acquisition by Weld North, where Zipper also led edtech investment strategy. He succeeds Dr. Mark Naufel, the company’s founder and former professor of practice and technology leader at Arizona State University (ASU). Dr. Naufel played a central role in developing the Axio Education AI platform and shaping its mission to revolutionize the learning experience.
