Zoetis Appoints Digital Health Pioneer Stephanie Tilenius to Board, Boosting AI and Innovation Focus
Zoetis Inc. has announced the appointment of Stephanie Tilenius to its Board of Directors, effective December 1, 2025. The addition brings the board’s size to 13 members. Tilenius, a seasoned health entrepreneur and technology leader, will bring her deep expertise in digital health, artificial intelligence, and innovation to support Zoetis’ strategic goals. Tilenius is a serial entrepreneur who has founded several health technology companies, most recently a stealth venture in the longevity AI space. She previously founded Vida Health, a leading B2B chronic care platform focused on diabetes and obesity, where she served as CEO from 2014 to 2023. Under her leadership, Vida scaled nationally and partnered with Fortune 500 companies, major insurers, and healthcare providers. Her career in technology spans senior roles at Google, PayPal, and eBay, where she played key roles in building and growing multibillion-dollar businesses. At Google, she was Vice President of Global Commerce and Payments, helping launch products like Google Pay and Google Shopping. She also held executive positions at PayPal and eBay, where she led global product and merchant services. Tilenius currently serves on the board of Seagate Technology Holdings plc and Papa, a platform connecting older adults with companionship and support. She is also a Venture Advisor to the AI Fund. She holds an MBA from Harvard University, as well as a Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brandeis University. Kristin Peck, CEO of Zoetis, praised Tilenius’ appointment, highlighting her strategic vision and experience in digital health and AI as a strong fit for Zoetis’ mission to advance animal health through innovation. She emphasized that Tilenius’ leadership will help accelerate Zoetis’ digital transformation and strengthen its ability to deliver data-driven solutions to veterinarians, pet owners, and livestock producers. Board Chair Michael McCallister echoed those sentiments, noting that Tilenius’ background in technology and product development will provide valuable guidance as Zoetis continues to lead in digital innovation within the animal health industry. Tilenius expressed her enthusiasm about joining the board, stating that Zoetis’ commitment to using advanced technologies like AI and data analytics to improve animal care aligns with her personal mission to drive meaningful impact through innovation. Zoetis, a Fortune 500 company, generated $9.3 billion in revenue in 2024 and employs approximately 13,800 people across more than 100 countries. The company remains dedicated to advancing animal health through science, technology, and sustainable solutions.
