dSPACE Unveils AI-Powered Test Solutions for Software-Defined Vehicles at CES 2026, Showcasing Advances in SIL/HIL Validation, Cybersecurity, and Radar Testing
At CES 2026, dSPACE is highlighting its advanced test and AI-powered solutions designed to help vehicle manufacturers navigate the growing complexity of software-defined vehicle (SDV) development. Located at Booth 4500 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, dSPACE is showcasing a comprehensive validation portfolio that integrates artificial intelligence across every stage of development. AI is being leveraged as a strategic enabler throughout the SDV lifecycle. The company is demonstrating how generative and agentic AI technologies can streamline software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing and support continuous integration and continuous testing (CI/CT) pipelines. A key exhibit features a solution using Visual Studio Code and GitHub Copilot to automatically generate virtual electronic control units (ECUs) for SIL testing, significantly reducing manual effort and accelerating development cycles. To address the need for faster, more iterative validation in SDV development, dSPACE is presenting a cloud-native CI/CT pipeline concept. This scalable approach integrates GitLab with VEOS, its SIL testing software, and SCALEXIO, its HIL platform, enabling automated, end-to-end testing throughout the development process. Complementing this, dSPACE is unveiling a HIL Farm Management Demo that provides real-time visibility into the availability, utilization, and status of HIL systems. By identifying bottlenecks and system errors early, the solution improves test efficiency and reduces downtime. The company is also emphasizing seamless integration between SIL and HIL testing. Using consistent test cases, simulation models, bus configurations, and user interfaces across both environments, dSPACE demonstrates how developers can achieve higher efficiency and software quality. This is particularly evident in its solutions for testing battery charging and battery management systems, where the same test setups can be reused across SIL and HIL validation. New product launches at CES 2026 include DARTS ARROW, a cost-effective radar solution for functional testing of radar sensors in end-of-line and periodic technical inspections. It enables realistic simulation of traffic scenarios to validate safety-critical driver assistance systems such as emergency braking and lane departure warnings. HydraVision, a scalable cybersecurity test framework, is also being introduced. Designed with expandable test templates and an exploratory testing approach, it helps identify and mitigate vulnerabilities early in development, supporting compliance with evolving automotive cybersecurity standards. Additionally, dSPACE is launching SCALEXIO Essential, a cost-efficient extension of its SCALEXIO real-time HIL platform. Tailored for classic edge ECUs in automotive, agricultural, and construction machinery, it comes with a complete software package and is ready for immediate deployment. As a global leader in simulation and validation for connected, autonomous, and electric vehicles, dSPACE serves automotive manufacturers and suppliers worldwide. With over 2,900 employees and offices across Europe, Asia, and North America, the company continues to drive innovation in vehicle development through integrated tools, engineering expertise, and comprehensive support.
