Adobe and Google Cloud Expand Partnership to Power Next-Gen Creative AI Across Creative Apps and Enterprise Platforms
Adobe and Google Cloud have announced an expanded strategic partnership to advance the future of AI-powered creative technologies, unveiling new capabilities at Adobe MAX, the world’s largest creativity conference. The collaboration integrates Google’s cutting-edge AI models—including Gemini, Veo, and Imagen—into Adobe’s creative suite, empowering creators and enterprises with next-generation tools for content creation. Through the partnership, Adobe customers will gain direct access to Google’s latest AI models within key applications such as Adobe Firefly, Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Premiere Pro. Enterprise users will also be able to leverage these models via Adobe GenStudio and, in the future, Adobe Firefly Foundry, which enables organizations to build and deploy custom, brand-specific AI models for scalable, on-brand content generation. A major focus of the collaboration is model customization. Adobe’s enterprise clients can now use Google’s AI models on Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, applying their own proprietary data to train models that align with their brand identity and creative standards. Google emphasizes strong data commitments, ensuring customer data is not used to train its foundational AI models. The two companies will also execute a joint go-to-market strategy to expand global access to these innovations. Through coordinated marketing, product launches, and customer enablement, they aim to help business professionals, creators, and large organizations accelerate their creative workflows and achieve more impactful results. The partnership builds on Adobe’s recent collaboration with YouTube, which will bring Premiere’s professional video editing tools to YouTube Shorts via a new feature called Create for YouTube Shorts—coming soon to the Premiere mobile app—allowing creators to edit, publish, and share videos directly to the platform. Shantanu Narayen, Chair and CEO of Adobe, said the collaboration combines Adobe’s deep creative expertise with Google’s AI leadership to unlock new possibilities across Firefly, Creative Cloud, and Firefly Foundry. He emphasized Adobe’s mission to empower creativity for everyone in the AI era. Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, highlighted the shared vision of delivering powerful, trusted AI tools to the creative community. He noted that integrating Google’s models into Adobe’s ecosystem enables creators and brands to bring innovative ideas to life faster than ever before. The announcement underscores the growing convergence of AI and creativity, with both companies investing heavily in tools that enhance productivity, maintain brand integrity, and drive innovation across industries.
