ISG Unveils Research Study on Microsoft AI and Cloud Ecosystem Partners to Guide Enterprise Transformation

Information Services Group (ISG) has launched a comprehensive research study to evaluate service providers supporting enterprises in transforming their operations through Microsoft’s AI-integrated cloud ecosystem. The findings will be published in a series of ISG Provider Lens® reports titled Microsoft AI and Cloud Ecosystem, set for release in July 2026. The study focuses on how organizations are evolving from basic cloud migration to building unified intelligence platforms powered by Microsoft’s suite of tools. Enterprises are increasingly looking for partners capable of navigating complex AI challenges, including cultural change, building trust in AI systems, achieving broad adoption, and delivering measurable return on investment. The goal is to transition toward human-led, agent-operated business models that enhance productivity and support strategic objectives. The research will assess providers across four key quadrants: Microsoft Productivity and Business Process Services: Evaluates firms offering consulting, implementation, integration, and managed services for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform. Providers are assessed on their ability to modernize digital workplaces and automate business workflows. Azure Data Transformation and AI Services: Focuses on providers specializing in enterprise data and AI ecosystems. These firms help clients move from unified data platforms to intelligent systems using tools like Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and CoreAI, ensuring responsible, scalable, and governed AI deployment. Azure Managed Services: Examines providers delivering managed public cloud services that extend Azure’s IaaS and PaaS capabilities. Evaluation criteria include integration of proprietary monitoring and remediation platforms with Azure’s native tools. Azure Professional Services: Assesses U.S.-based providers offering consulting and migration expertise for Azure transformation. These firms are evaluated on their ability to align technical execution with long-term business goals and meet evolving U.S. compliance standards. The study includes geographically targeted reports covering the Asia Pacific, Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, and the U.S. Authored by ISG analysts Siddharth Idnani, Cristiane Tarricone, Axel Oppermann, Dr. Tapati Bandopadhyay, and Sameen Mohammed Siddique, the reports will provide detailed insights into regional market dynamics and service offerings. ISG has surveyed over 320 Microsoft ecosystem providers, using input from its global advisory team to shape the evaluation framework. The final reports will feature expanded customer experience (CX) data, reflecting real-world enterprise feedback gathered through ISG’s ongoing CX research. The ISG Provider Lens® series combines empirical data, market analysis, and frontline advisory insights to help enterprises make informed sourcing decisions. The research currently covers global markets and regions including Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia, with additional markets planned for future inclusion.
