Hypershell X Ultra: The World’s Most Advanced Outdoor Exoskeleton Redefines Human Endurance with 1000W Motors, 30km Range, and AI-Powered Assistance

Hypershell has unveiled the Hypershell X Ultra, the latest and most advanced outdoor exoskeleton to date, setting a new benchmark in wearable mobility technology. Designed for adventurers, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts, the X Ultra delivers enhanced performance, smarter assistance, and greater durability than ever before. Built to fit snugly and naturally around the body, the exoskeleton acts as a seamless extension of the user’s frame, enabling longer hikes, tougher climbs, and more intense cycling with reduced fatigue. Its intelligent design adapts in real time to movement and terrain, thanks to advanced AI algorithms that analyze gait and effort, adjusting support dynamically for a fluid, intuitive experience. At the heart of the X Ultra is a brand new M-One Ultra motor system—featuring one high-torque motor at each hip—delivering up to 1000W of peak power, a significant leap from the 800W maximum of earlier models. This equates to roughly 1.3 horsepower directly integrated into your body. The motor efficiency has also improved to over 90 percent, contributing to a maximum range of 30 kilometers (18.6 miles), up from 17.5 km on previous models. Independent testing by SGS SA, a globally recognized leader in certification and inspection, has verified the X Ultra’s performance claims. Hypershell reports that the exoskeleton can reduce physical exertion by up to 22 percent during walking and 39 percent during cycling, while lowering heart rate by as much as 40 percent during activity—making strenuous efforts feel far more manageable. The X Ultra is built to endure extreme conditions, operating reliably from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), and constructed from lightweight, aerospace-grade materials including carbon fiber. It weighs just 1.8 kilograms (under 4 pounds) and features an IP54 rating, protecting against dust, rain, and snow. One standout addition is the enhanced knee protection system. When descending, the exoskeleton automatically activates buffering to reduce impact on the downhill leg while reinforcing support on the stance leg. This not only improves safety but also minimizes strain on joints, especially during challenging downhill terrain. The X Ultra now offers 12 distinct operating modes, including new settings for snow and dunes, expanding its versatility across diverse environments. These include Cycling, Downhill, Uphill, Mountain, Walking, Speed Walking, Running, Gravel, and more. Users can customize assistance levels and switch between modes via the Hypershell+ app, now available on Android, iOS, and for the first time, watchOS—allowing control directly from the wrist without needing a phone. With its durable, scratch-resistant build and refined engineering, the X Ultra is built to withstand the rigors of real-world adventures, from mountain biking to extended camping trips. After four years of development and field testing, Hypershell has delivered a device that truly enhances human capability. Priced at $1,999, the Hypershell X Ultra offers a powerful leap in performance and accessibility, positioning it as a transformative tool for anyone looking to move farther, stronger, and smarter in the great outdoors.
