German Firms Accelerate Cloud Transformation with AWS, Leveraging AI and Managed Services for Scalability and Data Modernization
German enterprises are increasingly turning to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its broader ecosystem to drive IT modernization, streamline operations, and unlock faster business outcomes, according to the 2025 ISG Provider Lens® AWS Ecosystem Partners report for Germany. The research by Information Services Group (ISG), a global technology advisory firm, highlights a strategic shift from isolated cloud projects to coordinated, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. Companies across Germany are embracing AWS cloud-native technologies and AI-powered tools to enhance scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency. As organizations modernize their IT and data infrastructure, AWS has emerged as the preferred platform for digital transformation in the region. This adoption is supported by growing reliance on integrated professional services that combine consulting, migration expertise, and ongoing operational management. The report notes that enterprises are seeking external partners to reduce implementation risks and accelerate cloud transitions. Many are leveraging managed AWS services to handle complex environments, ensuring strong security, effective cost control, and seamless performance across hybrid and multicloud setups. Providers with local presence and robust data governance capabilities are particularly favored in Germany’s regulated market. Data modernization is a top priority, with companies using advanced integration and analytics tools to unify siloed, unstructured data from IoT devices and business systems into cohesive cloud-based platforms. As data complexity increases, organizations are turning to experienced partners for strategic guidance and continuous management. Despite lingering hesitation around migrating SAP systems due to their critical role in core operations, AWS has become the leading platform for SAP cloud adoption. The RISE with SAP offering, launched in 2022, allows AWS to operate customers’ SAP environments in the cloud, prompting many German firms to reassess their cloud strategies. The report identifies Accenture, Capgemini, DXC Technology, HCLTech, and TCS as Leaders across all four quadrants evaluated: AWS Professional Services, AWS Managed Services, AWS Enterprise Data Modernization and AI Services, and AWS SAP Workloads. Other notable leaders include Cognizant, tecRacer, T-Systems, and Wipro, each recognized in three quadrants. Arvato Systems, IBM, and Rackspace Technology are Leaders in two quadrants, while AllCloud, Atos, Claranet, Deloitte, Kyndryl, Materna, NTT DATA, PwC, and Syntax are recognized in one. MHP, NTT DATA, PwC, and Skaylink are named Rising Stars—companies with promising portfolios and high future potential. LTIMindtree is honored as the 2025 global ISG CX Star Performer among AWS Ecosystem Partners, based on the highest customer satisfaction scores in ISG’s Voice of the Customer survey.
