ISG Launches Study on Databricks Ecosystem Service Providers to Guide Enterprise Data and AI Transformation

Information Services Group (ISG) has launched a research study to evaluate service providers within the Databricks ecosystem that help enterprises modernize their data strategies and optimize operations using the Databricks analytics platform. The findings will be published in a series of ISG Provider Lens® reports titled Databricks Ecosystem Partners, scheduled for release in April 2026. The study focuses on providers delivering managed data services, data modernization, optimization, and AI/ML enablement solutions. As organizations increasingly adopt the Databricks Lakehouse architecture, the need for expert support in unifying data, analytics, and AI has grown. Databricks’ platform supports scalable generative AI initiatives, improved data governance, and faster decision-making—capabilities that service providers help translate into real-world results. Aman Munglani, senior director and principal analyst at ISG, noted that enterprises are under growing pressure to unlock the full value of their data through integrated AI tools. He highlighted that Databricks and its partner network are key enablers in modernizing data environments, strengthening governance, and accelerating the deployment of trusted, scalable AI solutions. ISG has distributed surveys to over 150 service providers and is working with its global advisory team to produce two quadrants that reflect the current landscape of Databricks ecosystem services. These quadrants will be based on ISG’s market experience and client insights, helping enterprise buyers assess existing vendor relationships, explore new partnerships, and evaluate available offerings. The research will include geographically focused reports covering the global Databricks market and a dedicated analysis of the Brazil market. ISG analysts Gowtham Kumar Sampath and Hemangi Patel will lead the global report, while Joao Mauro will lead the Brazil-specific analysis. The 2025 ISG Provider Lens® evaluations also feature expanded customer experience (CX) data, drawn from ISG’s ongoing CX research. This data measures real-world enterprise experiences with provider services and solutions, adding a critical layer of validation to the analysis. The ISG Provider Lens® Quadrant research series combines empirical data, market analysis, and firsthand advisory insights to help organizations make informed decisions about technology sourcing. The research currently covers providers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the U.K., France, Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, the Nordics, Australia, and Singapore/Malaysia, with additional regions to be added in the future.
