Gambit Cyber Raises $3.4M Seed Round to Advance Agentic AI-Powered Threat Exposure Management

Gambit Cyber, a Netherlands-based cybersecurity startup, has successfully closed a $3.4 million seed funding round led by Expeditions, with additional participation from Bitdefender Voyager Ventures. The investment will support the company’s mission to scale its agentic AI-driven, risk-centric Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) platform. Gambit Cyber’s technology leverages autonomous AI agents to continuously identify, prioritize, and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities across complex enterprise environments. Unlike traditional vulnerability management tools, the platform takes a proactive, risk-based approach by assessing threats in context—factoring in exploitability, asset criticality, and real-time threat intelligence. The funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand engineering and sales teams, and deepen partnerships with global cybersecurity ecosystems. The company aims to help organizations reduce their attack surface more efficiently by shifting from reactive patching to predictive, automated threat mitigation. Expeditions, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage cybersecurity and AI startups, praised Gambit Cyber’s innovative approach. “Gambit Cyber is building the next generation of cybersecurity defenses—where AI doesn’t just analyze data, but actively acts to secure systems,” said a representative from Expeditions. Bitdefender Voyager Ventures, the venture arm of global cybersecurity leader Bitdefender, also expressed confidence in the company’s vision. “The convergence of AI and cybersecurity demands new paradigms in threat exposure management. Gambit Cyber’s agentic approach represents a significant leap forward,” said a spokesperson from Bitdefender Voyager Ventures. Founded by cybersecurity veterans with deep expertise in AI and infrastructure resilience, Gambit Cyber is positioning itself at the forefront of the evolving cyber defense landscape. With the new capital, the company plans to expand its presence in North America and Europe, targeting enterprises facing increasing complexity from hybrid cloud environments and evolving cyber threats.
