Overalls has announced a new strategic partnership with 5Star Life Insurance Company to launch CoreAssist, a supplemental medical expense coverage product—also known as GAP insurance—linked to 5Star Life’s Healthcare Indemnity plan. As part of this initiative, CoreAssist members will gain exclusive access to Overalls’ LifeConcierge®, an AI-powered, human-led support service designed to help individuals manage life’s most complex challenges. Sal Campanile, Vice President of Worksite Voluntary Benefit and Group Sales at 5Star Life, emphasized the transformative nature of the partnership: “With CoreAssist, we’re reimagining what supplemental insurance can be. It’s not just about paying claims—it’s about delivering real support. By integrating Overalls’ LifeConcierge®, we’re giving our members a trusted ally to help them navigate health, caregiving, and daily life with greater ease and confidence.” The LifeConcierge® service offers a comprehensive suite of support across five key areas: Medical Navigation – Assistance with understanding insurance benefits, scheduling medical appointments, and resolving billing discrepancies across all types of health coverage. Caregiving Support – Guidance in locating, vetting, and managing care for aging parents, children, or other loved ones, providing relief during demanding personal situations. Family and Child Services – Help with school enrollment, after-school programs, extracurricular activities, and other parenting responsibilities to reduce family stress. Daily Stressor Assistance – Support with managing household logistics, coordinating appointments, and handling everyday tasks that can otherwise feel overwhelming. Additional Resources – Expanded help with travel planning, legal document coordination, and other life events, offering a single point of contact for a wide range of personal needs. Jon Cooper, CEO of Overalls, said the partnership reflects a broader vision for insurance: “We believe insurance should do more than protect—it should empower. CoreAssist puts a LifeConcierge® in every member’s corner, ready to help them manage health, family, and life with less stress and more clarity. By combining human empathy with AI-driven efficiency, we’re delivering a smarter, faster, and more compassionate experience.” CoreAssist is part of 5Star Life’s broader mission to provide holistic, member-focused benefits.
