Laife Reply and IEO Develop AI-Powered Multi-Agent System to Enhance Mammography Screening

A second agent prioritizes cases by assigning scores, which helps radiologists quickly identify the most critical ones. The solution follows a "human-in-the-loop" approach, ensuring that radiologists remain central to the diagnostic process. This design maintains high standards of safety and clinical accuracy. The system also integrates smoothly with existing healthcare infrastructure through APIs that comply with FHIR standards, making it adaptable to current workflows. This project demonstrates the practical benefits of agent-based AI in healthcare, including improved screening efficiency, reduced recall times for critical cases, and better support for managing complex patient profiles.
