Honor Education Appoints Mark Leiter as Vice Chairman to Strengthen Corporate Strategy and Leadership Development

Honor Education has announced the appointment of Mark Leiter as Vice Chairman, effective immediately. Based in San Francisco, Leiter will report directly to CEO Joel Podolny and join the company’s executive leadership team. In his new role, Leiter will oversee corporate strategy, corporate development, marketing, and communications. He will also lead the creation of new professional services designed to help corporate clients build the skills and capabilities needed to thrive in an era of rapid change. “People are now changing careers, companies, and roles at an unprecedented pace,” said Leiter. “At the same time, artificial intelligence is transforming what software can do, reshaping job functions and skill requirements. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at McKinsey & Company and Capgemini, and began his professional journey at Bain & Company. Leiter is a Distinguished Strategy Fellow at The Conference Board and a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development (CED). He is the author of the acclaimed book Crafting Strategy in an Accelerating World: Practical Advice from Chief Strategy Officers Operating in Global, Public Corporations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany, a Master of Arts from Harvard University, and was a Research Fellow in Technology & Operations Management at Harvard Business School.
