Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed his approach to using multiple AI systems to ensure the best possible outputs and enhance his own cognitive skills. During an interview on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” on Sunday, Huang explained that he treats AI interactions similarly to consulting multiple doctors for a medical opinion. Huang stated that when receiving an answer from an AI, he doesn’t accept it at face value. Instead, he prompts the system to verify if it can provide a better response. He uses several AI models, having them critique and compare each other’s outputs to derive the most accurate and valuable information. "I ask the same question of multiple AIs. And I ask them to compare each other's notes and then, you know, give me the best of all the answers," he explained. At the 28th annual Milken Institute Global Conference in May, Huang elaborated on his daily use of AI, describing it as a tutoring tool. He often asks AI to start explanations at a basic level, akin to explaining concepts to a 12-year-old, before progressing to more advanced topics. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella disclosed in a May Bloomberg interview that he uses Microsoft Copilot to summarize his emails and prepare for meetings, illustrating the growing integration of AI in executive workflows. When asked about potential cognitive impacts of AI use, particularly in the context of an MIT study showing that using tools like ChatGPT to write essays can come with a cognitive cost, Huang expressed skepticism.
