French artificial intelligence startup Mistral has unveiled its new enterprise AI assistant platform, Le Chat Enterprise, designed to make scalable, privacy-first AI accessible to modern businesses. Built on Mistral’s latest Medium3 model, the platform delivers performance that surpasses larger models while significantly reducing costs—offering a powerful yet economical solution for enterprise AI adoption. Le Chat Enterprise is a ChatGPT-style assistant tailored for business teams. It addresses the challenges employees face when working across multiple applications and data sources by offering a unified, privacy-centric environment. Key features include secure internal search across private data repositories such as Google Drive, SharePoint, and Gmail—without exposing sensitive information to third parties. The platform also includes a document library with automatic summarization and citation capabilities, no-code tools for building custom connectors and AI agents, and flexible deployment options across public cloud, private VPCs, and on-premise infrastructure. A major advantage of Le Chat Enterprise is its ability to integrate seamlessly with existing workflows and tools, enabling organizations to build customized AI agents while maintaining full control over data and deployment. This approach helps prevent vendor lock-in and supports compliance with strict regulatory requirements. The platform’s privacy architecture includes robust access controls and comprehensive audit logging, making it suitable for highly regulated industries. At the core of the platform is the Medium3 model, positioned between lightweight and large-scale models.
