Jensen Huang Highlights 6 AI Startups in Vision for Human-Digital Workforces
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang highlighted six emerging AI startups as key players in shaping the future of human-digital collaboration during an interview with Citadel Securities. Speaking on Tuesday, Huang outlined his vision for next-generation workforces where humans and AI agents work side by side, calling the era of agentic AI “here.” He specifically named OpenAI, Harvey, OpenEvidence, Cursor, Replit, and Lovable as companies driving innovation in the AI agent space. OpenAI, known for its large language models, is a central player in the AI landscape. Harvey, a legal tech startup, uses AI to assist with legal research and document analysis. OpenEvidence applies AI to healthcare, helping professionals manage clinical data and evidence. The other three—Cursor, Replit, and Lovable—are focused on AI-powered coding tools. Cursor, owned by Anysphere, is particularly notable. Huang revealed that 100% of Nvidia’s software engineers and chip designers use Cursor, praising its impact on productivity. “We now have AIs for all of our engineers,” he said. “Productivity gains, the work that we do is so much better.” Nvidia recently committed up to $100 billion in investment to support OpenAI’s infrastructure, including the construction of data centers powered by Nvidia’s chips. This partnership underscores the deepening ties between chipmakers and AI innovators. Huang has long championed the idea of AI agents that break down complex tasks into smaller, manageable steps to achieve broader goals. At CES in January, he declared the arrival of agentic AI. In a prior podcast, he envisioned Nvidia growing to a 50,000-person company with 100 million AI assistants deployed across every department. The concept of integrating AI agents into enterprise workflows is gaining traction beyond Nvidia. General Catalyst CEO Hemant Taneja recently emphasized that successful AI integration requires deliberate planning for how humans and AI will collaborate. “Some humans are going to manage AI agents. Some AI agents are going to manage humans,” he said. “Imagine how the org charts have to change.” As AI tools become more embedded in daily work, companies are rethinking organizational structures, workflows, and talent strategies. The rise of AI agents is no longer a distant future—it’s a present-day transformation reshaping how work gets done.
