Dexcom Unveils AI-Powered Meal Logging Feature for Stelo and Dexcom G7 to Simplify Diabetes Management

DexCom, Inc., a global leader in glucose biosensing, has introduced a new AI-powered photo meal logging feature called Smart Food Logging across its glucose biosensing portfolio. This feature, which was first launched on the Dexcom G7 earlier this year, is now available on Stelo, the first over-the-counter glucose biosensor cleared by the FDA in the United States. The Smart Food Logging feature aims to simplify and encourage more consistent meal tracking for users. With the update, Stelo and Dexcom G7 users can now take a photo of their food within the app, and the AI will automatically recognize the ingredients and populate the meal description.
