Revolutionizing Radiology: DeepHealth's TechLive™ Enables Real-Time Remote Imaging After FDA Clearance

DeepHealth, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RadNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT), has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its remote scanning solution, TechLive™, marking a significant advancement in medical imaging operations. The platform enables centralized oversight and real-time remote operation of MRI, CT, PET/CT, and ultrasound procedures, helping address staffing shortages and rising labor costs in healthcare. With over 300 imaging systems across RadNet’s network now integrated with TechLive™, the solution has improved operational efficiency, expanded center operating hours, and increased patient throughput. The technology allows expert technologists and radiologists to remotely guide on-site staff during complex scans, ensuring consistent, high-quality imaging regardless of location. In a pilot deployment across 64 RadNet facilities in New York during the second quarter of 2025, TechLive™ contributed to a 42% reduction in MRI room closure hours compared to the same period in 2024. This improvement enabled more patients to receive timely scans. The remote expert support also led to a measurable increase in the number of complex procedures performed. The expansion of TechLive™ to ultrasound is particularly impactful, as this modality relies heavily on real-time operator skill. By enabling senior sonographers and physicians to guide less experienced technologists remotely, the system enhances diagnostic accuracy and access to specialized care, especially in underserved areas. Sham Sokka, PhD, Chief Operating and Technology Officer at DeepHealth, described TechLive™ as a transformative shift in imaging operations. “By enabling real-time remote expertise, we are not only solving today’s staffing challenges but also building a foundation for more efficient, sustainable, and high-quality patient care across all imaging modalities,” he said. He added that the FDA clearance validates DeepHealth’s vision of a connected, scalable imaging ecosystem where human expertise can be leveraged beyond physical limitations. DeepHealth, part of RadNet’s Digital Health segment, integrates advanced AI tools across its portfolio, including solutions for lung, breast, prostate, and brain health. Its cloud-native operating system, DeepHealth OS, unifies clinical and operational data, delivering personalized AI-driven workspaces for radiologists, technologists, and administrators. The company’s technologies are used by thousands of radiologists worldwide in large-scale cancer screening and diagnostic programs. RadNet, Inc. operates 401 outpatient imaging centers across the U.S., serving key markets including California, New York, Florida, Texas, and New Jersey. The company employs over 11,000 people and provides a full suite of diagnostic imaging services, radiology IT, AI solutions, and teleradiology services under the DeepHealth brand. The FDA clearance of TechLive™ represents a major milestone in the digital transformation of radiology, offering a scalable solution to meet growing imaging demands while improving access, efficiency, and care quality.
