D-Wave Launches Advantage2 Quantum Computer, Offering Unprecedented Power and Efficiency for Real-World Applications

D-Wave Quantum Inc., a pioneering company in quantum computing, has announced the general availability of its newest and most advanced quantum computing system, the Advantage2. Since June 2022, more than 20.6 million customer problems have been run on Advantage2 prototypes through the Leap cloud service, with usage increasing by 134% in the past six months. Dale Moore, President and CEO of Davidson Technologies, expressed his excitement about hosting the Advantage2 system, noting its potential to support mission-critical tasks and national security research. Dr. Masaru Tateno, Chief Scientific Officer of Japan Tobacco's Central Pharma Research Institute, emphasized the system's role in driving breakthroughs in drug discovery through Quantum AI. D-Wave Quantum Inc. has been at the forefront of quantum computing since becoming the world's first commercial supplier of quantum computers.
